Refund Policy
MedicalCert provides clinician-led medical assessment and documentation. Payments made through this platform cover the cost of clinical review, professional evaluation, and administrative processing associated with your request.
Documentation is issued only where clinically appropriate following independent assessment by a UK General Medical Council (GMC) registered doctor.
Automatic Full Refunds
If documentation cannot be issued following clinical review, a full refund will be provided automatically.
This includes situations where:
- A GMC-registered clinician determines that there is insufficient clinical basis to issue a certificate or medical letter.
- The patient is assessed as not clinically eligible for the requested documentation.
- The reviewing clinician declines the request on professional grounds.
No action is required from the patient to receive this refund.
When Refunds Are Not Provided
Refunds are not provided in the following circumstances:
- A medical certificate or letter has already been issued and delivered.
- Documentation has been correctly prepared in accordance with clinical findings.
- A third party (such as an employer, airline, insurer, university, or organisation) declines to accept the issued document.
- Incorrect, misleading, or incomplete information was intentionally provided during the assessment process.
Duplicate Payments & Technical Errors
Where duplicate payments occur or a verified technical error prevents clinical assessment from taking place, refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
Refund Processing Time
Refunds are returned to the original payment method used at checkout. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider, but typically appear within 3–7 working days.
Regulatory & Platform Structure
MedicalCert operates as a digital platform facilitating independent clinical assessment by UK GMC-registered doctors. Clinical decisions are made independently and cannot be influenced by commercial outcome.
Payment processing and platform administration are managed through a United States limited liability company. This administrative structure does not replace clinical oversight or professional regulation.
