How Our Contact Process Works

Submit your query
Use the contact form, email, or phone. For clinical queries, the form is preferred so we can route your message to the right team member.
Clinical or admin triage
Your query is directed to the right team. Clinical questions are reviewed by a GMC-registered doctor. Administrative queries are handled by our support staff.
We get back to you
We aim to respond within one business day. For urgent queries during office hours, calling is the fastest option.
Clinical Review & Eligibility
What to expect from our review process.
GMC-registered doctors review every application. No exceptions.
Certificates are never auto-generated. Each undergoes individual clinical assessment.
Doctors may decline requests where issuance would not be clinically appropriate.
All information shared is treated with full medical confidentiality.
Our clinical review process and code of practice are publicly available.
MedicalCert is operated by Knobel Health Ltd under Dr Maria Knobel as Clinical Oversight Lead.

How quickly will you respond to my query?
During office hours (Monday to Friday, 08:30–18:00), we aim to respond within one business day. Queries submitted outside these hours are addressed the following business day. Phone lines are staffed during office hours only.
Can I contact you about a certificate I've already received?
Yes. Please call +44 (0)161 391 0155 or email help@medicalcert.co.uk with your order reference. We can review concerns with the appropriate clinical team member.
Can I upload a specific form for your doctors to review or sign?
Yes. Mention this in your message via the contact form. Our clinical team will review it and advise whether it falls within our service scope. Note that third-party forms may be declined if clinically inappropriate.
Are your doctors able to act as my regular GP?
No. MedicalCert provides an online medical certificate service only. Our doctors conduct a specific, structured clinical review for documentation purposes. They do not provide ongoing care, diagnosis, prescriptions, or referrals. For ongoing health needs, consult your registered GP.
Who operates MedicalCert and who oversees the doctors?
MedicalCert is operated by Knobel Health Limited (Company No. 15052216). All certifying doctors are registered with the General Medical Council (GMC). Read more about our medical team and clinical review process.
Can I get a refund if my certificate is declined?
If declined before clinical work has commenced, you may be eligible for a refund. Use our cancellation request form. Refunds cannot be issued once a certificate has been issued. Full details in our disclaimer.
