1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the MedicalCert website and services. By accessing or using this Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
2. Trader Identity and Contact Details
MedicalCert is a trading name of Nobel Medical LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Delaware, United States.

Email: help@medicalcert.co.uk. This address is monitored and is the fastest way to reach us. We aim to respond to all enquiries within one working day.
Doctors reviewing requests through the platform are registered with the General Medical Council and practise in the United Kingdom. GMC registration numbers are published on our doctors page and each issued document carries the reviewing doctor's name and GMC number.
3. Nature of the Service
MedicalCert operates as a digital platform that connects patients with independent GMC-registered doctors for private medical consultations. The platform provides the consultation questionnaires and the operating procedures through which information is gathered, including screening and eligibility criteria that determine whether a case can be assessed online. It does not employ doctors, make clinical decisions, or issue medical documentation.
All clinical decisions are made independently by the reviewing GMC-registered doctor, not by the platform.
4. Independent Clinical Assessment
All requests submitted through the platform are sent directly to an independent GMC-registered doctor for individual clinical review. Documentation is issued only where the reviewing doctor determines there is an appropriate clinical basis.
MedicalCert does not and cannot guarantee that any certificate or medical letter will be issued. Issuance is subject solely to the independent professional judgement of the reviewing doctor.
5. Your Right to Cancel
Where you are a consumer, you normally have 14 days after the day the contract is entered into, which is the day we accept your order, to cancel a distance contract for services under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. This is known as the cooling-off period.
Because most certificates are issued the same day, or by 9am the next morning, we ask you at checkout to expressly request that the clinical review begins immediately and to acknowledge that you will lose your right to cancel once the service has been fully performed. If you do not give that consent, we will not begin the review until the 14-day period has expired or until you tell us to proceed.
If you cancel after the review has begun but before it is complete, you may be charged a proportionate amount reflecting the clinical work already carried out, and the balance is refunded. If you cancel before any clinical review has begun, you will receive a full refund.
To cancel, email help@medicalcert.co.uk with your order reference. You may use the model cancellation form, but you are not required to.
6. Refunds
If the reviewing doctor determines that documentation cannot be issued, a full refund is provided automatically. Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout, within 14 days of the decision. In most cases funds appear within five working days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
Where the service has been fully performed and documentation has been issued following your express request to begin immediately and your acknowledgement that you would lose the right to cancel once the service was fully performed, the fee is not refundable. This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including your right to a remedy where a service has not been carried out with reasonable care and skill. 7. No Medical Advice by the Platform
MedicalCert does not provide medical advice. Content on this website is for general informational purposes only and does not create a doctor-patient relationship between the user and the platform.
Users should seek personalised medical guidance from their own GP or healthcare provider where appropriate. MedicalCert does not provide emergency services. In a medical emergency, call 999 or attend your nearest emergency department.
8. User Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and truthful information when submitting a request for clinical review. Providing false or misleading information may result in refusal of documentation and potential account restriction.
9. Third-Party Acceptance
Any certificate or medical letter issued reflects a clinical assessment at the time of review. Acceptance by employers, insurers, airlines, universities, sporting bodies, or other third parties is subject to their own policies and requirements. MedicalCert does not guarantee acceptance by any third party.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MedicalCert shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the Service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
11. Data Protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018. Health data is treated as special category data and is handled accordingly. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details, including international transfers, retention periods, and how to exercise your rights. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
12. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of the service, email help@medicalcert.co.uk and we will acknowledge your complaint within three working days. Concerns about the professional conduct of a reviewing doctor may also be raised directly with the General Medical Council.
13. Amendments
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes take effect on publication and apply to orders placed after that date. The Terms in force at the time of your order govern that order.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
If you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may bring proceedings in your local courts. If you are resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom or the European Union, nothing in this clause removes the protection given to you by the mandatory consumer law of the country in which you live.
