Certificates and letters are not generated automatically — each request is evaluated using the doctor's own professional medical judgement and accepted clinical standards.

You complete a secure online form outlining your medical history, symptoms, and the purpose of your request. This information is sent directly to an independent GMC-registered GP to form the basis of their clinical review.

Independent Clinical Evaluation

The independent GP reviews the information provided, considering current symptoms, functional impact, stability of any existing conditions, and whether documentation is medically justified at that time.

Issued Where the GP Determines it is Appropriate

If the GP determines the request is clinically appropriate, a signed medical certificate or letter is issued. Where the GP determines there is insufficient clinical basis, documentation will not be provided.
